Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Bob's passing in the architectural press.

As separate architectural firms, Bob and I shared office space in Central Square for 29 years. But is was more than simply sharing office space. We shared thoughts about practice, about the Boston Society of Architects, about what is now the Boston Architectural College, about Central Square itself and about our own office space. Roger-

Deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am sorry for your loss.

Bob was a good friend, and I shall always cherish the memories of our work together on the new constitution/bylaws for the Boston Architectural College.
He will be missed by all of us.

On behalf of the Stow Conservation Commission, please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your father.

Bob Sturgis ,Team leader for the Toledo RUDAT, '89

Bob Sturgis was a titan in the world of urban design. His impact on American cities and his inspirational vision for the future of human congregations will be with us for forever.

As a young architect just out of Univeristy I worked with Bob in his Central Square office for a number of years in the late 70's early 80's. He was and remains an inspiration. My sincerest of sympathies to the family.

Rog,

Our thoughts and prayers are with your Dad and your family.

What a great son you are!

Love,

Susan and George
