Not sure what to say?

Sending my condolences to Mary and Bob's family. He was a great guy, always smiling and sweet. His professional presence in the US Postal Service was a mentoring experience for me and I am proud to call him my friend. I would have loved to give him another hug once again.

I'm so sorry to have missed Bob's memorial service. I just found out about it today, Monday. I have fond memories of playing with and against Bob in fast pitch softball in my early days at the post office. I always looked forward to seeing him at the retiree dinner and breakfast. He was one funny man with a true gift for gab. My prayers are with you Mary.

In later years, I would sometimes bump into Bob at one of the local big box stores, but my memories of Bob are from my first years at Miller Road P.O. Working away in the morning, suddenly one might hear Bob singing a bit of a tune in the style of "old blue eyes". At another time, he might pantomime his style of bowling down the row, briefly replaying a recent game. With Bob around, the mood always improved. RIP

Always a smile on his face and usually a kind word to say. Oh, and the stories. Between my late dad, Joe Corryn, and Bob there were stories. I remember listening to them at the retiree breakfast meetings and other times during my life. I know that there is a large hole in the lives of those left behind, but know he is always there in some way, shape, or form just look for the little reminders and know you are not alone.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. Definitely one of my all time favorites! Always looked forward to seeing him and listening to his old time postal stories. They certainly got better every time he told them and no matter how many times we heard the same one they never got old! Sending our love to Mary, Bob , Tracy and all the rest of the family. Rest in peace old friend. You´ll be greatly missed!

Sorry Bob dad was a good man as are you

Brother Bob. A Post Office legend in his own time. When he was born, they broke the mold. Rumor has it that they beat the heck out of the mold maker too. Never saw Bob without a smile and a story. Bob loved to talk and we all loved to hear him. Best thing that ever happened to Bob was when Mary married him! He never slowed down, even in retirement and kept Mary busy trying to keep up with him. What a joy he was in this life and he will be sorely missed. Rest well my friend; you've...
