Paul, Bob, & Joe Sumner - Richmond, VA 1982

Psalm 116:16: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Bob's race has been won and he is now in the arms of the One whom he loved. He will be greatly missed by myself, my wife, Clara, and son, Matt. He was faithful as a prayer warrior and supporter of God's Work to the very end. May all of those who knew and loved him, join him in the clouds of glory one of these days. Pastor Dick Davis, Lord's Living Water Lighthouse, Lordsburg, New Mexico, USA

Bob was a wonderful brother to me as we both serve the same Master - our Lord Jesus Christ. Bob was a faithful prayer warrior and supporter for our ministry in Lordsburg, New Mexico - Lord's Living Water Lighthouse. He often expressed in writing and over the telephone that he wished he could visit us sometime and looked forward to the day when he would have enough strength to do so. It just will not be the same to see that his monthly letter to us is not in the mail. My wife, Clara,...

Strong, thoughtful and kind to the very end, you are an inspiration to us. We'll always miss you Bob.

I am really sorry to hear about Bob. I had the joy of praying with my church and Sunday School class for him. Visited with him some and found a very devout christian. Joe and Tina and the family I am sorry but, I know he is happy now. Ivan A. Moore

I was sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Scott and I knew he faced this recent challenge with courage. We know that God took him home and we look forward to seeing him again someday. He faced a number of challenges in his life and he had to rely on God to get him through them all. His reliance, trust and faith set an example for all of us.

Bob - You showed grace, generosity, and courage in your battle and we were all proud of the way you handled this ultimate challenge. Go in peace, brother.
