SUNDWICK, ROBERT "BOB" Of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Boyne City, Michigan, age 73, died Monday, December 19, 2016 in Florida. Celebration of life will be held at 12 noon Friday, January 13, 2017 at The Lost Lake Golf Club, 8320 Fazio Drive, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, Deacon John Sundwick officiating. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to Hurley Medical Center. Robert was born on October 22, 1943 in Flint, Michigan son of Robert E. and Madeline Sundwick. He was a native of Flint, Michigan. Robert graduated from Flint Central High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Ferris State University and his Master's Degree at Western Michigan University. Robert spent his career in the automotive aftermarket and after retirement devoted 18 years giving back to the industry as a Professor and Chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Management Department of the Florida Campus of Northwood University. Surviving are wife, of nearly 45 years, Mary Jo; son, Robert J. (Melissa); daughter, Andrea (Benjamin) Schultz; two granddaughters, Kathleen and Elizabeth Schultz; brother, Deacon John (Karen) and sister, Carol (Bill) Hartley.
We are so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a very special class act and we enjoyed our times with the both of you! He will be missed!
