Not sure what to say?

Bob was a high school friend during a time when change was happening in the country during the Civil Rights movement. I remember sitting on the steps listening to him talk. Bob was never at a loss for words. I visited him in NJ some years back on a work trip. I wished we had kept in touch. He was a cool guy who accepted me as a friend. I called him my bearded buddy. I miss you Bob. My sincere condolences to the entire Sutton family. Stan Daise

Bob Sutton is remembered fondly by Gladstone Tavern patrons and staff and will always be remembered as one of the Gladstone Tavern great luminaries.

Bob will be missed. He definitely could escalate a conversation! Just a happy man with his cigar and bourbon! Thoughts and prayers to you, Ginger, Luke, and Jack.

My hearfelt sympathy to Bob and his family. We were high school friends and he always was the light in the room with our group of friends. He will be missed. May God comfort you all.

No words. Heaven is having more fun

I will miss Bob. Was hoping to be able to enjoy some fun times together when I move out that way with my SoCal wife. Bob and his family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

As the eldest of nine cousins, I will miss Robert E. Sutton, Jr. immensely. Although many years and time have predisposed a continuing relationship from our teen years on Fripp Island S.C.,
Fond memories from early childhood in Decatur, Ga. we're the times that he became like my brother. He loved his Aunt Patricia(Peeples)Shaw as much as I love his mother to this day. I suspect his inspiration to write perhaps was the beginng to us both by what my mother's legend was before she went home to...
