The USS Preble was the first ship I ever serve on, during my first cruise, which was the UNITAS. Capt. Sutton became our new Captain when the ship visited Panama. The example he set of how to gain respect of the crew was unmatched. During my career in the Navy, I have not serve under any command that had the class of my Captain Robert Sutton. He will always be in my thoughts forever.

A true American hero, and a treasured cousin. So many, many, great memories of our shared family times, and Bob's wonderful presence at the family "compound" in Coral Gables. We never had it so good as then......God speed, Bob.
