I have many fond memories of Swanie, mostly at Reiskies Resort, next door to his house. Always a friendly smile, he was the 1st one to "Spin em" for a round of drinks. As one of his bartenders in the early years, when he and Sandy would come up weekends, I noticed you could tell when he was having a good time by how high is elbow was up on his "Absolute and Dr Doctor Pepper" hand.
