Ookie was my father's, Ben Chait, best friend from childhood. Last summer, I spoke to Ookie for the first time in many years. He reminisced about his youth with my father and their times at Boston Latin School. When we got off the telephone, Ookie thanked me and said that he felt like a young Ookie living on Wentworth Terrace. What a wonderful trip down memory lane that was for me as Ookie told me stories that I had never heard about my grandparents and father. What a long wonderful life...
