BOB WAS A LIFE TIME GOOD FRIEND. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN WITH OUR TENNIS RIVALRY THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. I ALSO ATTEMPTED GOLF IN PA WITH RUSS BREWER, JEFF ASHTON, AND MY SELF, RAY ASHTON, AND BOB. I WAS A TERRIBLE GOLFER, BUT WE HAD FUN WITH DRINKS AND A NICE DINNER EACH TIME. BOB IS VERY MUCH MISSED. HE PASSED BEFORE HIS TIME SHOULD HAVE BEEN OVER. RAY ASHTON

After many years of playing golf together in PA, you are missed

Bob was a good person and a good friend. My favorite memories of him are the times he took me and my young daughters fishing on the Shenandoah river. None of had ever fished before and those times were wonderful. He was a warm, generous and above all, fun, person. The world is a smaller place without him
