My memories of Uncle Bob (my godfather) are filled with his warm gentle ways and good-natured teasing. Always ready with a funny story and questions about what was going on in my life which somehow put me in the center of our conversations. Even as a child he made me feel that what I had to say was important to him. Despite the loss of his thumb in a war injury, he found a way to make it part of who he was. No sense of disability, self-pity or bitterness, in fact it was his main story...

To Mr. Tacconi's family: I had the pleasure of providing PT for him at Milford Hospital several months ago...He was such a pleasure! Mr. Tacconi took pride in all of his architectural endeavors and told me some fantastic stories. He also described the great love he had for his family.
