Not sure what to say?

Dear Linda and family:

My sincere sympathy for the loss of your dad. I have such fond memories of your family from our high school days. He was a true gentleman and will be missed.

Bob was always so kind to our family and especially the kids. We'll miss him.

My memories of Uncle Bob (my godfather) are filled with his warm gentle ways and good-natured teasing. Always ready with a funny story and questions about what was going on in my life which somehow put me in the center of our conversations. Even as a child he made me feel that what I had to say was important to him. Despite the loss of his thumb in a war injury, he found a way to make it part of who he was. No sense of disability, self-pity or bitterness, in fact it was his main story...

To Mr. Tacconi's family: I had the pleasure of providing PT for him at Milford Hospital several months ago...He was such a pleasure! Mr. Tacconi took pride in all of his architectural endeavors and told me some fantastic stories. He also described the great love he had for his family. May you all find strength in the difficult days ahead, and peace in knowing that you will one day see him again.

I have great memories of Uncle Bob and of his stories. I'm proud to have an Uncle like him and humbled by his service to his country.
