Robert D. Talbot

I still have my Mother's Cookies card of Bobby Talbot when he played in the Pacific Coast League in the early 1950s. I had the honor of meeting him at Recreation Park in Visalia just a few years ago before I moved from my birthplace of Tulare to New Mexico. RIP Bobby ! You still have some fans down here to join you later.

We will miss you very much Grandpa, have fun catching all those fly balls in heaven.

BOB TALBOT WAS ONE OF MY BASEBALL CARD HEROES. I'M EMAILING FROM CANADA TO SAY THAT I CONTACTED BOB TWICE AND HE SIGNED TWO BASEBALL CARDS FOR ME. I KNOW THAT BOB GOT INTO 122 GAMES WITH THE CUBS HOWEVER IT WAS THE FOUR SEASONS HE SPENT IN THE P.C.L. WITH LOS ANGELES THAT I WAS MOST INTERESTED IN. A GREAT DEFENSIVE OUTFIELDER FOR SURE.

I'm sad to hear of Bob's passing. I worked for Bob at BofA many moons ago. He was one of the best bosses I have ever had, always so kind. Praying for the family during this time. He will be missed.
