Not sure what to say?

Un abrazo enorme Claudia. Siempre recordaremos a Bob. Un gran hombre, ejemplo de amor y dedicación al 20 Mule team, a su comunidad de Muleros a sus amigos y sobretodo a su familia. Somos muy afortunados de haberlo conocido y ustedes de haberlo tenido.

I will always recall a day of ski school in 6th or 7th grade with the BUES ski program. Mr Witt, our instructor that day was a bit irked when Bobby skied up to the class at the run which used to end at the top of chair 6. Bobby answered no, he was not with Mr Witt's class that day, and when Mr Witt asked him to move on and quit the disruption, Bobby said okay, and just bounced effortlessly down out of view over the ridge, the 8 or ten of us watching and being envious of his fluency on skis. ...

Your talents will be greatly missed by the Wood River Valley. Thanks for the memories.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Bobby. Me and my family had the pleasure of getting to know him and his family just this past ski season. I was struck by his warmth and caring nature, not to be out done by his dedication and commitment to his son Bo and his wife Claudia. Even though our knowing him was brief, we feel like we have lost a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to Claudia and Bo. Denise, Ernie and Harrison Lohman

I think my first contact with Bobby was at Death Valley when he was doing a 20 Mule Team demonstration. As the first grandson of Francis Marion Smth I had seen the 2o Mule Team wagons at Death Valley around the early 1950's during an Easter Week Boy Scout Trip. Since I was 7 years after my grandfather died, I only new a few tales from my mother until George Hildebrand's bioography was published. Thus, I was eager to see the wagon train actually moving. Several of my cousins joined me. ...

Bobby will be missed by everyone that ever spent a summer at Red's, was part of their Mule Days crew, or spent time at their family home in the Rocking K area. My daughter & I were fortunate to have done each of those things with Bob & Bobby over the years. Those times are among our favorite memories to replay. We miss them & their lifestyle that they shared with us. Our fond memories of them will stay with us forever. We are heartbroken for Claudia & Bo. Harriette Allison

Bobby is a Legend and will be sorely missed.
