Bob Task was a very dedicated person who was devoted to the task of helping others, whether via his work for the American Cancer Society or through other charitable causes. He was an honest and straightforward professional who did his part and helped others with their jobs. He was always smiling and full of positive thoughts and good humor. I had the pleasure of working with Bob from our New York ACS days through our relocation to Atlanta. He was one of the most refined and classiest guys I ever worked with. And a very thoughtful and considerate man. His kind don't come around very often. RIP.

I met Bob in 2017 through his work with the Bobst Foundation. He was a true gentleman -- kind, thoughtful, insightful and funny. I will miss our telephone conversations -- we always had so much to talk about. Farewell, my friend.
