Templer, Robert J., 85, retired Cessna manager and real estate agent, went to be with his Lord and Saviour August 1, 2009. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary. Robert was a Navy veteran fighter pilot serving on a WWII carrier. He was an active member of Quiet Birdman....

Kathy, it was with great sadness that I learned of Bob's passing. Bob was my first boss at Cessna and he was an inspiration and a great leader, and he taught me how to reach out and connect with others. He was a wealth of information, and provided me with much needed direction. May he rest in peace, and may you and your family be comforted knowing that his management skills and his direction had a great impact on me.
