Not sure what to say?

Reverand Templeton gave me compassionate council during a time in my life that was very difficult. He was loving and always made himself available to listen. I will always be grateful for his kind ministry. He was at St. Pauls in Las Cruces at the time. Our sympathy to his family for their loss. May they be comforted knowing that he is with the Lord now.

O Lord,
Who healest the broken-hearted
And bindest up their wounds,
Grant thy consolation unto the mourners . . .

O strengthen and support them
In the day of their grief and sorrow;
And remember them (and their children)
For a long and good life.

Put into their hearts the fear and love of thee,
That they may serve thee with a perfect heart;
And let their latter end be peace.

Robert M. Templeton will always be remembered by the Mitchell family. The Mitchell's and the Templeton's marched side by side in ministry from Indian Territory in Oklahoma, on to the state of Oklahoma and then to New Mexico. My grandfather Rev. Charles F. Mitchell, my father Rev. Charles F. Mitchell, Jr. and my uncle Rev. Paul D. Mitchell who were contempories of Robert, I Rev. Paul B. Mitchell and now my son Rev. Andrew C. Mitchell have stood in that line of ministers who have continued to...

I will always be grateful for the life of Robert M. Templeton, Jr., and what he and his family have meant to his Mitchell cousins, especially to my Aunt Mary, my father, and Uncle Elbert.
Much love to Carolyn, Najmah (my college role-model), Robert, and Jean (Jeanie -- my childhood friend).

I remember both Rev. Templeton and his wife Grace and their time of service to St. Paul's in Las Cruces with great appreciation. Rev. Templeton provided support and counseling to me in a time of personal loss, and I have always remembered how comforting that was for me. He will always be a special part of my life.

Rev. Templeton was a great blessing to my wife and me during his service at St. Paul's UMC in Las Cruces. I know the family is comforted by the asurance that he served the Lord in many ways and palces.

Rev. Templeton was a favorite minister while in Las Cruces at St. Paul's UMC. As a person and a preacher he was an A+ person. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I know you will miss him and pray for God's comfort and peace for you.
