I've known Bob since the 7th grade when we were 11 & 12 year olds. He asked me to play on his Saturday hardball team which knowing Bob he would load the team up to win. Bob was a "cantankerous, outspoken, boastful and sometimes belligerent" guy, but at the same time he was thoughtful, kind, intelligent and definitely a craftsman". Bob was a friend for 60 years and we hunted, fished, played softball and drank a million beers (or more) together. He will be missed and not forgotten. RIP my friend.
