Not sure what to say?

I use to run with Robert as a member of GPAC in the 1970s and 80s. After running in Griffith Park today, 03/24/2023, I just read of his passing. I'm flooded with many happy memories and saddened by the lost.

Grandpa T.,
I miss and love you very much. Its been too long. xoxo

Well Dad,

It’s been one month today that you’ve been gone. I’ve recalled very event that happened before you left us to cross the “uphill” finish line. I miss you very much, and not a day has gone by that I don’t think of you. I know that you’re in a better place.

I’ll say so long for now Dad until we all see each other again. I love and miss you.

"Grandpa Tetrick." I'm glad I had a chance to meet you. Your legacy lives on through your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. My condolences go out to your family members.

This is Sage playing baseball.

My Great Grandpa- I listened to the tape with Dad, Lanie and Katie and I saw your pictures of you and Great Grandma. Im glad you survived in world war 2.You were a very fast runner. And Im glad that you won all those golden trophies.

I am in second grade. I play soccer. And my position is goalie. And I just starded. And I play baseball to. And my position is first base. I go to The Bright School. And what I like about school is,I like P.E. And P.E. is when we play games. Every time we...

It's been two weeks now since Grandpa passed away. He is gone, but not forgotten. In my mind I know that he is at peace, but in my heart there is an emptyness and a feeling of loss.

People say that it gets easier as the days go by and that time is a great healer, but right now it does not feel that way. I fell asleep on the plane back to Chattanooga the other night and I saw his face, but I wish for one more hug.

Did I make him proud in things that I did and the way he saw...

I ran many road races with Bob from 1969-1973 when he lived in Glendale and ran for the Seniors Track Club & Griffith Park AC and I lived in Eagle Rock. I always wondered how a guy who was twice my age (he was 45, I was 22) with his shuffle style could be keeping up with me. I enjoyed his company at the races and the weekly challenge of trying to keep ahead of him.

My Grandfather. There is so much to say about the goodness of his life. I remeber the Resturant the copper clock and helping my Uncle Billy wash dishes and Grandpa giving me Strawberry shakes. I remember him helping my brother and I catch butterflies. I remember the family picknics at Verdugo park and Grandpa helping me make Milk Carton boats to send down the creek. I remember being in such awe when I gazed upon his trophys for the races he had won. I remember staring in wonder at the picture...

Grandpa, and his wit and humor, will be missed very much.
