Hey Dickie, Hope it is all you dreamed it would be...

Our lives were all better for having known Dick. He was the most kind, optimistic, joyful person I've ever known and it is so hard to say goodbye to him.

My husband and I did not know him well but over the years were witness to his hard work for Scout Troop 1865 and his kindness to all the Scouts. He opened his home to Chris' friends, our son included. Our family sends heartfelt sympathy to Chris and his Mom on the loss of this good man.

I knew Dicky from 1969 until sometime in 1982. He was a delight, and I know he will be missed by all that knew him.
My best wishes go out to Roberta and his son Chris ,whom I've never met.

I will miss your energy and our morning chats, it just will not be the same without you here at CSC. I've have been blessed to have known you these past 27 years and will never forget you.

The laughter at the CSC Chantilly office will be diminished significantly with your absence Mr. Thacker. Deepest condolences to your family and dear friends.

Dick for 37 years you have been like a brother to me. You and Roberta have been so instrumental in our families lives. Our hearts are broken and the piece of our hearts that was devoted to you will never ever be the same. We will miss you dearly.
