Dr. Robert Merriman Thackeray

I sure loved my grandpa. I still miss him. Thank you for the memories.

I wish to offer our condolences to the Thackeray family during this time. Although I did not know Mr. Thackeray, the newspaper notice described a very impressive and accomplished life. He must have been a great man.
I also wanted to contact you as our families are related - I am the grandaughter of Donald (Bill) Thackeray, brother to Arthur Thackeray. I would be so pleased if you contacted me.

I remember so well the Thackeray family and have so many found memories. But time has scattered us all and we have lost touch. Our community was blessed with two of the finest vets in the country in Dr. Thackeray and Dr. Ruebel. Dr. Thackeray was also a very talented wood carver if I remember correctly. What great memories!!!
