Weatherhead Young Funeral Home Obituary

Weatherhead Young Funeral Home

885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723

BJ Thomas, better known as Beej, passed away quietly in his sleep on October 7, 2020. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kelly, two sons, Zach and Aiden and his father, Robert Thomas.  He had a passion for baseball and truly enjoyed coaching his sons’ teams. He was dedicated to providing services to those in need. He’ll always be remembered for making people laugh and being the life of the party.  He will be missed dearly. Our hearts are broken but we will honor his legacy by loving life as much as he did.

A memorial gathering will be held at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723, on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 4 to 7 PM with a funeral home service at 6:30 PM.

Not sure what to say?

Such a nice guy put my phone we talked about little League his sons and my grandsons. May he RIP

He was one of my favorite Christian singers ! My condolences go out to his family. He will be missed! I started listening to him when he first started singing. I did not know he passed on but I just listened to his music yesterday. Great singer! And I am so happy he was a Christian !

Over theyears I have had the pleasure of crossing paths with BJ at numerous business networking events , typically focused upon serving the senior citizen community. BJ was such a congenial and compassionate person who was driven to provide a better quality of life to his clients. H e will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, BJ, Kelly,Zach & Adian. He was truly one of the good guys and nicest person to ever cross paths with!
God bless you all During this time of grief and moving forward.

My husband and I are deeply sadden at the loss of BJ. We have only known him for a short while but felt as if it was a long time connection. He was a truly authentic and caring person with a smile that warmed our hearts. Our prayers to his wife and son's for strength. He spoke of you each time he visited us...with such love.

Thanks for all the great memories Beej.
You were one of the kindest people I ever new. My family was blessed to have you as a friend and neighbor.

Always a smile or a laugh and so many fond memories. BJ was a kind soul and he, Kelly, and the boys are in our thoughts and prayers.

One of the nicest people I've ever worked with. Always a smile and a big laugh I can still hear so many years later. My deepest sympathies to his family. Gone too soon.
