Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Thompson and family,
On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff and students of Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, it is with sadness that we learned of the passing of Dean Robert Thompson who is so highly regarded on our campus. In his role here at the School of Osteopathic Medicine, he touched the lives of so many physician in training with his guidance, support, encouragement, and wisdom. As I travel to various meeting in New Jersey and beyond, I am...

Dr Thompason was a really kind, positive, encouraging man that became a mentor to anyone who is smart enough to be blessed with his wisdom. Always welcoming and insightful as to things that happen in life. What a honorable person he was. Thank you Betty also for the encouragement. Both of you have been a positive role model for me. Here in Honolulu writing book about the RFDS and aborigines. We made it!

Dean Thompson has left an indelible mark on my career as a role model and a mentor. Many of us have gone on to excel in our specialties, as well as teach medical students and residents. Someone as special as Dean Thompson will never be forgotten. He was our inspiration and guidance. He will remain in our hearts forever. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

A wonderful man who will be truly missed. In the early years of SOM he was an island of calm in a turbulent sea. Sincerest condolences to family and friends. Farewell, Dean Thompson.
