Bob, 87, ended his journey with us on August 2, 2013. He was born on October 7, 1925, in Danbury, CT, and raised in Bethal, CT, by his Grandmother. His father was Stewart I. Tibbits and mother Elizabeth Parker Brodie. His cousin, Elizabeth Sutton, was raised in the same house and was like a...

Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bob at Suntrust Bank many years ago. He was such a special man. At Christmas he always made the best bourbon meatballs!

Bob was my ex-father-in-law, and someone who I remember fondly. He was unfailingly optimistic, upbeat and always ready to lend a helping hand. He also could put together an awesome Thanksgiving spread :) He was a wonderful grandfather to my sons, who will always feel his presence and love in their lives. My prayers are with his family.

Sending good thoughts and prayers.

We would like to thank everyone that has such good memories and kind words for my Dad. He is free now. He will always be in my heart and my memories and they all leave me smiling and laughing. Although the tears come, they are full of respect and thankfulness that I had such a wonderful Dad. Thanks to you all.

PattyBo Snow Village - Bob, Barbara & Friends

Barbara, Patty and Family,
It was my pleasure to have known Bob over the years at SunTrust and after. I considered him a true and respected friend. He was always there willing to help anyone with anything whether it be personal or for work. I still use him today as an example when training new employees when they are afraid of not knowing the answer to a client's question. I'll always remember how Bob handled this situation: He would say to the client, “That's a great question, let's...
