Not sure what to say?

Glady, Michael, John and Tonya I am so sorry to here about Don. Truly a great man.

Mr. Tidwell was a lovely man. I had the opportunity to meet him and his wife when I moved to North Carolina in 2009, sharing a house for a time with his daughter Tonya. He got me out of a jam when my car died soon after I arrived. He lent me his truck so I could start my new job while I was hunting for my replacement car. I'll never forget that kindness. Wishing peace to his family.

I was a neighbor of Donnie on Paisley Street until I was 6 and have some pictures of us playing together. I´m sorry that I never renewed that friendship since I live in the Sumner community, having married a Sumner boy. I send my sympathy to your family in your deep loss, and feel I have lost a good friend. Nancy Short

On behalf of all of our membership, we fondly remember our friend and fellow member Don Tidwell, Don was a long time member of our association and was a friend to all he met. He was a wonderful man. God speed Don, until we meet again. Steve Gibson, Director and the entire membership of the Award Associates of America

I met Don, the Candyman at the walking track at PG Baptist church several years ago. He always greeted you with a smile and friendly attitude and don't forget a candy mint. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Peace and memories,Jill Wiest

The Lord be with you forever. We love you uncle Don, and will cherish our memories of you. Peace be with the entire family, we are with you all. With Love, Eide family

My deepest condolences to the Tidwell family. I got to know Don back in the 80's through doing business with Trophy Sports. Don was always so helpful and such a nice person. Don was successful because he cared for people, he would always make sure he did his very best. Don made the world a better place, he gave his very best everyday.
