Robert Christopher Toland, 46, of Wilton, CT, formerly of Camden, AR died in Wilton, CT. He attended high school in Camden and graduated in 1975. He was in the “Who’s Who” Among American High School students, and in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He graduated from the University of Arkansas and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in 1981. He was a member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and received honors for his outstanding scholastic achievements. Chris was the National Director of Field Sales for Forest Pharmaceuticals in New York, NY.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Grady Toland. He is survived by his wife, Renee and children, Ryann Ashley and John Christopher all of Wilton, CT; mother, Margaret Lucille Toland of Camden; sister, Margaret Ramsey of Texarkana, TX; and brothers, Louis Toland of Texarkana, TX and James Toland of Camden.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Missouri Cemetery. Rev. Larry Goza and Rev. Bill Ponder will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Westside United Methodist Church or Children’s Home. Chris gave my best friend Ryann everything a girl could ask for. He was a great father, and will be missed by anyone who ever knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this celebration of his life.
