Robert E. "Bob" Toliver

Will hopefully get up to Illinois in 2022 and it will be different without us being able to go to lunch. God blessed me with Robert Toliver a wonderful christian man and supervisor at Verizon and his wife Jane whose smile was so beautiful. He and Jane lived their faith and I was blessed with his faith and kindness.

Alan your dad was my supervisor at GTE/Verizon until he retired in 1991. I got into management with his help. He was very helpful, kind and a great christian. I took him to lunch about 5 years ago and planned to be there this year and about 1 month or so before he passed I called him to thank him for helping me and my kids and that I would take him to lunch...your mom was so awesome too. Condolences on your loss.

Bob was a wonderful man. Always friendly and caring for everyone he knew. He will be missed by all.

Alan so very sorry for the loss of your father but you will always have your memories and those will come upon you when you see or hear something and that's when you feel the corner of your mouth start to rise and yes that smile is the memory coming up and sometimes even your eyes will start to well up and yes that's a full blown memory

We shared many campfires with Bob and Jane over the years. We have always enjoyed their fellowship. We miss both of them. Our prayers go out to the entire family
