I worked briefly with Bob at Arter & Hadden prior to moving to Spain. His positive energy and inner happiness gave him a glow that flowed onto others. He was always available, genuinely interested, and considerate of others, the definition of a Gentleman. His love for his family was admirable and thoughts of you were always there, on the edge of his mind Maggie, Michael, and Rob. The Tomaro family’s loss is inexpressible. And we have lost a compassionate friend and an inspirational man. ...

Dear Margaret and Family,
I learned only today in the Fall Gilmour Magazine about Bob's passing. My wife Corinne and I send our deepest condolences to you and his family, many friends and co-workers. We will keep him and you in our prayers.
While I didn't see him after our days at Gilmour, I have nothing but fond memories of him. He was a good guy, and always nice to me.
My strongest memory of him is from another tragic day, Friday, November 22, 1963. We were all...

I'm a floater secretary here at TEW (last 3 years) and would work for Bob when his secretary was out. What whirlwind days I would have! From the start of the day Bob was on the move - phone calls, letters, e-mails, client conferences, etc. It was quite a challenge helping him to conquer the computer e-mails, etc. He resisted for awhile, but finally learned how and became quite good at it -- after that we sent more e-mails :) There was never a dull moment with Bob - you were always 2 steps...

Dear Maggie
I was so glad to meet Robert and witness just how much he loved his family and his incredible personality.
Gary's and my favorite story you told us is when Robert rented a school bus and chauffeured your mother and her friends around town.
You and the boys are in my prayers.

To everyone who has expressed condolences to Mike, Rob & me,
We are truly grateful for the kind, heartfelt comments about Robert. Daily we review this guest book. Reading these helps to ease the sadness. Many have provided a laugh - which Robert would enjoy.
We sincerely thank you. God bless you.

I worked with Bob for 5 years at Arter & Hadden and another 3 years at Tucker Ellis & West. Bob has always been an inspiration. His incredible energy and genuine concern and interest in all people did not go unnoticed. I will fondly remember the family stories he shared with me (I also have two sons). What a gentleman -- I miss him.
