Not sure what to say?

Rob Tomback was an exceptional person and administrator. When I in landed at Catonsville high in my 6th year of teaching, Rob's leadership of the school community was apparent. He was equally respected and loved by students, faculty, and parents. Since it was my first years teaching in high school, he had a great impact on me as a teacher, and the way he knew and ran Catonsville High set the gold standard for educational leadership in my eyes. Dr. Tomback was not only Superintendent of Harford County Public Schools but a dear and caring friend to all. Rest in Peace Rob, you are truly missed.

Mr. Rob was a joy to know as a neighbor growing up in Springlake. My heart goes out to the Tombacks - he will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Rob in multiple capacities. He championed me on many occasions! Rob was also a dear neighbor. He and his family are one of the reasons we love Springlake!

We are thinking of you and we are sending much love from all of us to all of your family. You have our deepest sympathies and we are holding you in our...

I taught social studies at Catonsville HS for 4 years and Rob was a great principal. He was smart, fair, funny and even-tempered. I always appreciated that he put students first. Thinking of your family at this tough time.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

So very sorry to hear this news. Many fun times timing with Rob at Springlake swim meets. May you all find comfort in the memories.
