Robert "Bob" Tomes

I met Bob in1963 at the U of Nebraska. Our dorm rooms were across the hall. We became friends and enjoyed many good times together. Our life long friendship included being involved in each others weddings. Bob was one of my closest friends. As everyone who met him knows his positive attitude made him a real joy to be around. I feel real fortunate have spent time with him and Barbara. While we all miss him, we never forget him. The world needs more like him.

I knew Bob and his family for over 27 years. Bob always had a huge smile on his face and was always incredibly positive. His commitment to his family, community and his dealership will never be forgotten.

My son Chris and Brandon shared the little league baseball field together as youngsters. Bob and his wife were active fans as well as myself and my wife. Great memories from 30 years or so ago. Peter Sarris

I have known Bob personally for a little over 10 years. When I joined the Mckinney Rotary Club, he welcomed and accepted me. I was amazed by Bob's genuine friendly, outgoing, and warm personality. He's never met a stranger. Bob was a giving and caring individual who always cared for others, the community, and where possible in the world. Thank you, Bob, for being the example. You will truly be missed by many!

I had the honor of knowing Bob for several years as well as Brandon and Barbara. Bob was a person that from the moment you met him, you knew he was a kind, gentle, honest, good person. We are all better for having known Bob. He was an icon in the car business, but even a greater father, grandfather, and friend. Bob will be missed.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Bob, Barbara a d Brandon for 30 years, as Brandon and my son started school together in the 1st grade. Bob's smile and friendly presence will be missed by all. Melissa Males
