I'll miss you Pete...you're spunk, smile & wit will live on my memories. I always enjoyed your short visits & hung onto every word of those stories of the past. My heart goes out to your entire wonderful family that I know loved you & will miss you so much.

My sincere condolences to the family. Pete and I were friends for over 50 years. We worked together, rode to work together, hunted, and yes, had a few beers together. I visited with him last July shared many memories of the ww 2 era and beyond. In recent years we have corresponded on the internet often. I shall miss him and the good days together, he was a great friend.

Pete,
We were best of friends for 55+ years. We shared so many passions, parties, jobs, football, even politics. You lived to be one of the last survivors of the "Greatest Generation". Just a few left. I was ten years old when the war ended and I consider myself a son of the Greatest Generation. I remember their many sacrifices and never a complaint. They reflected the values that existed then. How many times we talked about how the values changed since then, and it is not pretty.
