I was an agent with State Farm in Monroe. One time I asked Bob to speak to a hometown kid about employment. Bob hired him. I was so proud. The kid did not work out. It was the kid'
s fault. When I would see Bob, I wanted to apologize. His eye contact told me that it was not necessary. Bob was a great SF supervisor, but Bob was a greater man. I'm blessed to have known him. Augie Augurson.

Phyllis and family, I am sorry to hear about Bob. He was a fine man and will be missed by family and friends. I know the last years have been difficult and I have often thought of you. I tried to contact you, but did not have any luck locating your telephone number. I would love to talk to you -- it has been too long. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Carol Ann

May you continue to find comfort and guidance from the Lord.

My heart is heavy and words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. The Mid-South family loved Bob and his family.

I was sad to hear about your dad. He was always so sweet to me and treated me like family. I'm praying for your peace and comfort.
Love, Leslie

Bob was a wonderful person. My first job at State Farm was in data processing. Bob would take the time to make sure I felt comfortable and was always there to lend a hand. He gave of his time to help coach our softball team. I will always remember those SEC Football discussions between Bob and I regarding who would win the Auburn and LSU game. My prayers are with you during these difficult times. Bob was a very good man.

Phyllis, we were saddened to hear about Bob. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barbara and James Reeves

I have many fond memories of working with Bob in Monroe...may you rest in peace. I will keep the entire Townley family in my prayers. God Bless you all.
