TREPANIER, Robert J. - Of Columbiaville, age 54, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road followed by Military Honors under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. Deacon Jim Corder officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 2312 Lapeer Road, Flint, MI 48503. Visitation 4-9PM Friday at the funeral home. Robert was born in Marquette, Michigan on January 7, 1954. The son of Donald J. and Shirley Trepanier and was a resident of the Flint area until he moved to Columbiaville, in 1992. Robert worked hard to provide for his family at General Motors with 32 years of service and he was a member of UAW. He will be missed by his three daughters; Nicole, Jenae and Victoria Trepanier, along with his brothers and sisters; Raymond Trepanier, David Trepanier, Donald Trepanier, Cheryl Gibson, Constance Lich, and also his good friend, Robert Arlow.
