Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Truax,

I am sorry to learn of Mr. Truax's recent death. He was a stellar math teacher and helped me have an attitude adjustment regarding math!!! The Crossett Public Schools were fortunate to have had both of you as exemplary teachers there. May you and your family be comforted by memories of many good times shared with him.

Fondly,
Betty Hines Bloore

Mrs. Truax and family
Mr. Truax had the rare talent that only great teachers have to inspire his students to achieve more than they thought they could. My sincere condolences to the family.

Dear Mrs. Truax and Family,
We will remember always the kindness and love you gave to all your students. I am so very sorry for your loss. At the class of 58's reunion you both were spoken of often as being 2 of the most memorable teachers we had. May God bless you and your family at this difficult time.
You will be in our prayers.

Johnny M. & Ellon (Johnson) Johnson (Class of 58 & 59)

Mrs. Truax and family,
So sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Truax will always be loved and remembered by Crossett High School. At our recent class reunion (50th anniversary), it was apparent that he was very much loved by our class, as were you, Mrs. Truax. Our prayers are with you and we will all hang on to our wonderful memories.

Mary Pendergrass Hoff (West Monroe, La.)

Dear Mrs. Truax and Family, I was so sorry to hear you had to give up this dear man. You were both inspirations to all at CHS and I've thought about you both over the years. My friends still ask me where I learned my "math tricks" and I always credit Mr. Truax. You must be proud of the many lives he touched. I'm so glad he was able to see our book and learn a little about us. Fondly,

I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Truax was an exceptional person who I had deep respect for. The family will be remembered in our prayers.

I will always remember Mr. Truax. Math was not my best subject and I can remember hiding behind the person in front of me so he wouldn't call on me, but he always found me. I am so sorry for your loss. He is fondly remembered. God bless you.
Anita Franklin Dumas (Crossett Class of 58)

Mr. Truax will always be remember by the students that he taught. He was truly one of a kind. He instilled in many of us a love for math and a desire to learn.
