Not sure what to say?

Fifty years ago I made my first trip to New Orleans . . I met Marc the first day I was in the city and we remained live long friends . . I shall miss his annual New Year's Day phone call . . I will miss his friendship . . I will miss the fun . . Marc was truly one of the last great Southern Gentlemen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Never could my family and I have had a more welcoming and fun neighbor than we did with Marc. What wonderful memories Bruce, Bruce, Grace and I will cherish. Another true southern gentleman is in heaven now.

Robert Marcuis Turk,I can't imagine not being able to call you up and hear a whole new take on everything and anything. You were so important to me in my 30 years that I was single and you made many a lovely time for me and a whole lot of other people that rallied around you. Why wouldn't we make our way to you; you made everything beautiful, fun and wonderful.God bless you my dear one.

Robert Marcuis Turk,I can't imagine not being able to pick up the phone and call you up and hear a whole new take on everything and anything. You were so important to me in my 30 years that I was single and you made many a lovely time for me and a whole lot of other people that rallied around you. Why wouldn't we make our way to you; you made everything beautiful, fun and wonderful. And I am so happy that you loved my beloved Rich. God bless you my dear one.

It was a great honor to know you, I will miss you my friend.

Bet He's One Of The Best Dressed In Heaven!
A Dear Friend Who Will Be Sorely Missed.

We were saddened to learn of Marc's death. He was a wonderful gentleman and a loyal friend. Jack & Nanine d'Aquin

To Marc's nephew, grand-nephew, and other members of the Box Family: I was distressed to see Marc's obituary in the paper this morning. He was one of my (and my wife's) favorite persons. I lost touch with Marc after The Bombay Club II changed hands. The "new" Club, while very nice, just wasn't the same without him. I wish we had the opportunity to "catch up" at the corner of the bar (Marc's "station") at the Dumaine Street or St. Ann Street locations, with a "real" Bombay Martini. I'm going...
