Robert Peter TURK

Dr. Turk was a wonderful friend and mentor to our son while he was in Dayton. Tom always looked forward to their dinners and phone calls. Their friendship continued even after our son left the area. We had the honor of being with him on several occasions and are grateful he was in Tom's life. He even took us on a guided tour of the Air Force museum. He was a very special man who will be missed. I was a resident at St. E from 1980-83 and deeply respected Dr. Turk and was saddened when Steve Swedlund called me Friday to tell me of his passing. One of the special treats of the holidays was receiving his Christmas travelogue/letter and I always called him and met him when I traveled thru the Dayton area. I will miss visiting with and occasionally speaking with him by phone. As I travel to DC frequently, I look forward to visiting his final resting place at Arlington...David Hagan
