Prayers and Love for family and friends!! Love Gloria D.

It was a pleasure to be a docent with Bobby. He was so genial at our docent lunches after our education sessions and eager to be a part of the art appreciation community. He was smart and had so much knowledge and experience and enthusiasm to share.

As an anesthesiologist at St. Joseph Hospital from 1971 until it closed in 1994, I provided anesthesia services for many of Bob's patients. He was by far the best general surgeon I ever worked with during those years at St. Joe. Always a gentlemen and a friend. He will be missed. Rest in Peace, Bob.

Ruthie, Weldon, we loved seeing your Dad at Carson Hearing Care. He was one of our favs. We will miss seeing him at Carson Hearing Care. We all are Sending lots of loving prayers to your family.

Oh the joy of dancing with Bobby and Nealy - what a team. What a beautiful service today. It is an honor to have known him and Puddin too. Such beautiful people and friends. Love to all the family from Gracey

One of my favorite memories....... When I was a kid there were several families that caravanned to the beach each year called "The Beach Bunch". One year, I was probably about 6, Bobby had us digging up those little baby clams (the blue, green, & pink clams you see when the waves leave the beach they quickly burrow back into the wet sand) by the pail full. After collecting thousands of little clams, he made the clam chowder. Not that I knew what that was, but he took something from the beach...

What a beautiful story this obituary tells! Love and hugs to your whole family.

Jennifer and I became inseparable friends in the late 1980's, before I moved to Memphis in the early 1990's. I have so many fond memories of Dr. Turner (and Puddin) and how they opened up their hearts and home and made me part of the family when my own family was stationed in Michigan. There were so many laughs. In loving memory of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. I will love and miss you always.

My condolences to all of the family and friends! This is a big loss for all of us! Bobby will be missed but never forgotten! Rest in Peace dear friend! Karamat Choudhry
