Judy, Kathe, Mr. Ulbrich... My heart goes out to you and your family. Bob was always Kathe's somewhat-mystical "older brother" when we were growing up. I so clearly remember Kathe being called to the office in, what? 6th grade? to be told of the birth her first nephew, Michael. We could not have known a more family-oriented, giving man. My prayers are with you.

We are St. Colette parishoners. Although we weren't close friends, we do remember Bob and Judy from church. We will keep you all in our prayers. We know how devestating losing a loved one to cancer can be as we lost our daughter nearly a year ago. God bless.

My mind has drifted back to our teen years, move to Rolling Meadows, swimming in that muddy pond, laughing over silly things, doing fun stuff. Bob was my big older cousin and although the years have separated us and our families those memories have always been my favorites and my childhood connection to my extended family.
