I started going to Dr. Unser at the age of 20. I am now 58, so he was my eye doctor for over 37 years. He was an expert in his field -- no question about it. What I remember most about him was his patience. He was a perfectionist and didn't sign off on anything he prescribed until it was totally right. He was absolutely outstanding as an eye doctor and was a truly caring human being. I miss him already.

Bob will be missed. He exuded compassion in his work and demonstrated Christian character. I first met him after having Lasik surgery and I needed him in an emergecy. He met me at his office on his day off to make sure I was OK. As our friendship developed I was asked to conduct his wedding to Debbie. That gave me the opportunity to really get to know him. I know that He now resides with God and we will SEE him again. Debbie & family I am so sorry for your loss. He was a one of a kind.

I worked for Dr. Unser many years ago. He was the ultimate professional; compassionate, caring and had a true passion for his work. I always thought of him as "the quiet one". He will be missed.

Bob was our brother-in-law for only three years but we loved him right away. His love of God and his family was evident in everything he did. He loved my sister with all his heart and we were so blessed to have known him. He always spoke of his children with so much love you could see it in his eyes. We will miss him so much but we know that he is with his Lord and is waiting for all of us to join him.
