Not sure what to say?

I feel very honored to have had Bob in my life. I learned a lot from him and will miss him especially on holidays. He will be sadly missed and the void will be hard to fill. He was a very regal person who went out of his way to make others feel welcome and appreciated. Many of his traits can be seen in his children who reflect him very well. My condolences to the family and may God be with you.

Robert Jr & family,
We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO THE FAMILY OF A GREAT BUSINESSMAN AND A FRIEND
BOB AND KATHY THURAU

I remember Bob dancing weekly with Betsy at Celebrations. Bob not only enjoyed dancing, but was also very personable. He was a gentle and avid dancer with finesse. You don't find a gentleman today, as he was. May God Bless you Bob.

In my fifteen years of being David McHale's daughter, I have grown up sharing his memories. I have heard the countless stories of his childhood, and can recap them detail by detail. I can remember how many fond memories my dad has of the Uptegraff family- baseball games, sleepovers, and many more. Now, years later, my father may not remember exactly what happened those nights, or what was said, but I know he will always remember the kindness Robert Sr. has shown to him. I have fond memories of Mr. Uptegraff as I spent many hours at his house playing with both Robert and Lisa. It seems like he always had a smile and never got angry when something came up broken around the house, pool or yard. He had a great sense of humor and was very generous to all the kids in the neighborhood. He and your Mom will always be a part of my childhood.

Bob will certainly be missed in the community. I'm so sorry we can't be there for the funeral. Friends from high school, Rev. Robert Gray, Dayton, Ohio and sister Judy (Gray) Zudell in Florida.
