Send FlowersUPTON, Robert C. Of Hingham, formerly of Onset and Walpole, August 22, 2016, age 79. Beloved husband of Maureen C. (O'Reilly) Upton. Loving father of Sharon E. Judge and her husband Richard of Medfield, Julie C. Upton of Rockport, and Suzanne M. Kracunas and her husband William of Hingham. Cherished grandfather of Savannah, Jacqueline, Collin, Benjamin, Katherine, and Abigail. Brother of Richard Upton of Norwood, the late Dorothy Jenks, the late Evelyn Quackenbush and the late Stanley Upton, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Bob's Life Celebration on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday at 10AM. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st St. Ste. 800 Miami, FL 33131. US Marine Corps Veteran.

To the Upton family, I know your family through one of your daughters, who is a shining light, Julie. And Julie and I found out that we shared a common ground in Walpole. I lived there for a couple of years as a small child, and went to first and second grades at Stone Elementary. So even though I only know you through your daughter, I feel connected to your shining hearts. Mr. Upton, may your journey continue to be blessed. There are so many wonderful memories and I find myself reflecting on them as time passes. We grew up with loving parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
