Not sure what to say?

I wanted to surf the internet for the names of former teachers and among them was Mr. Urbanski's. I am sorry that it was an obituary, but I am happy to say something positive about this man. He was my freshman algebra teacher at Monmouth Regional in 1961. He was the first person to introduce me to the scribble smiley face, which he always placed atop our quiz papers (sometimes they were sad or snicker faces - depending upon the grade). I remember his launching the George Cantor Set Theory in...

So sorry to hear about Bob. Our prayers

Dear Maud,
So sorry for your loss. Bob was truly one-of-a-kind. We can't think of anyone more friendly, genuine and fun than Bob... we will all miss him greatly!

Bob was one of my first teachers at MCC I learned so much from him. He gave so many of us confidence and pride as we moved from quiet freshman to Junior College graduates. I still to this day remember one of our ski trips to Mt Washington NH what a blast we had. RIP Bob you gave so much. Lou

Dear Maud and Jackie,
Sonia and I are very saddened to hear about Bob. Indeed, was a wonderful person to his family, his students and, I feel, even the trout loved him.
John

Maud, I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. What a wonderful, funny and kind man. He was always such a joy to be around. He will be missed by many. God bless you and your family.

Although he's been gone from MCC quite some time now, I remember Bob very easily and am saddened to hear of his passing. But he had one heck of a grand run and will be dearly remembered by many, many people, young and old alike. My sincerest condolences to family, friends, colleagues and all the students whose lives he touched over the years.

Maud,

I find it very difficult to allow many people in to my heart. Bob, you and your entire family are that rare exception. TJ and I are so sad that it is even difficult for us to talk about it. No more phone calls with silly jokes, no more phone calls telling us how proud he was of you and all your accomplishments both at work and as a mother, no more calls telling us about his kids and how much he loved them and about how well they are doing, no more calls about...
