We were sad to hear about the loss of this important, dedicated man. Dr. Usher was one of the doctors who cared for our son Samuel in 2000 after he was born very prematurely at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Dr. Usher was the "father" of the Royal Victoria's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and was largely responsible for the excellent reputation it gained over the many years that he worked there.
