Robert Ladislav Vacha

My condolences to your family. Robert leaves behind a wonderful legacy of doing things for others. The many lives he touched will be felt a lifetime. Our Heavenly Father has Robert in his memory. May you find comfort knowing Robert´s desire was always centered on helping others.

Mr. Vacha was my 8th grade English teacher at St. Pius X/St. Leo back in 1985. Until 8th grade, all of my teachers taught English and Reading out of the textbook with reading the selection and answering the comprehension questions at the end. I just didn't connect with reading that way. Mr. Vacha was the first teacher to have us read a book. It was The Outsiders and it opened my mind and heart to the love of reading. Bob was my nephew I am the wife of David Vacha (dec) my name is Kathi. We often went to Laddie and Rose house to visit their family. I remember Bobby was just a young boy full of energy! Heading and guiding all his brothers and sisters !! What joy it was to see all of them growing up! I am so sorry for all the family! This was such a great loss!! Bob was a classmate of mine at Bishop Neumann High School - we had many classes together and I don't remember a time that he didn't have a smile on his face. He was always a fun person to be with and share classes with. He will truly be missed. My condolences to the entire family, may he rest in peace.
