Valenti
Robert "Bob" Alan Valenti, 54, of Rootstown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Rob inson Memorial Hospital, after suffering from esophageal can cer.
Born March 3, 1950, in Ra venna, Ohio, a son of the late Anthony P. and Rose (Coco) Valenti, Bob was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary University Parish in Kent. He worked as an electronic technician at Konica-Minolta in Hud son for many years. He was an avid golfer, Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, and coached Little League in Kent.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Priscilla (Hodgkins) Valenti; children, Christopher Valenti of Westlake, Shannon Valenti of Cuyahoga Falls, Justin Valenti of Rootstown; broth er, Mike Valenti of Rosedale, Calif.; sisters, Susan (Mike) Murray of Atwater, Joann (Steve) Pisarchik of Ravenna; sister-in-law, Jane (Robert) Lean of Gleneden Beach, Ore. He was preceded in death by daughter, Jordan Rose Valenti.
Friends will be received Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wood- Kortright Funeral Home, Raven na Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend John Jerek on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary University Parish Newman Center, 1424 Horning Rd., Kent, Ohio 44240. Dearest Pris,Justin,Shannon,
Christopher and Family:
I am so very saddened at the news of your monumental loss at Bob’s passing. I especially remember how willing Bob was to help others. Way back when I got my first computer and you all came over, we had such a good time laughing and talking over supper and afterward. He so willingly set up the entire new computer, and explained to me how to use it. He was always so quick to help anyone, even without them asking. He was such a wonderful husband and father – he will be missed by many. Please know that all of you are, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

I have worked with Bob for many years at Konica. He was a wonderful man to work with and had a great sense of humor. He loved to talk about his family and sports. He will be deeply missed by all of his coworkers. I send my deepest sympathy to his son justin (that he loved so much and always talked about) his wife and his family memebers.
