Mary,I just heard of your loss. While I worked at Visiting Angels I loved to talk to him and even got the chance to see him and your mom. He will be greatly missed in my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. One Spring morning in 1963, while a medical student on teaching rounds at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, our Professor, Max Allen, M.D., related that he had heard from his friend in Seattle, Dr. van Citters, who had been his student/resident/fellow a few years prior. Mary, I am so sorry to hear this news. Last time I saw your father was when graduated from high school, and I will always remember him that way. Such a powerful presence, but full of unexpected humor.

Mary, I'm so sorry you lost your Daddy. He sounds like he was quite an awesome guy. Our thoughts are with you.
