Robert M. Vancil

Bob was someone you liked from the moment you met him. He was a warm and pleasant soul. I enjoyed listening to him tell the story line he was planning for his most recent book. The spark in his eyes as he spoke revealed Bob's joy in his work. He was a creative and talented writer. Bob will truly be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

I am just hear of the loss of this incredible teacher! He was one of my favorites and always will remember his great smile and kind demeanor. We would always call him “Bobby V” in school...and I think that goes to show how well liked and loved a teacher is when students give a “nickname” to a teacher. You were a wonder spirit in this world and am glad to have known him! May you shine down on us from above...and until we meet again!

I have many great memories of Mr Vancil- he was my all time favorite HS teacher! He touched a lot of lives in his time. RIP Mr Vancil ♥
