It surely does not seem that long ago that Bob died. Not very many of the Sheldon Class of 1954 left and wish that Bob could be one of them. Maybe someday we will meet him in Heaven and talk about "old times and fun days" .

We met Robert and De at church in Norfolk. Debbie loved baseball and the Detroit Tigers and learned that Robert's baseball team was the Tigers too! Robert and Debbie would talk baseball and how theycould fix the Tiger team, it was such fun. He called Debbie "Little Tiger" and it made her smile. Robert was a wonderful Christian man and we saw how much he loved the Lord and his dear wife, De; in fact we saw how much they loved each other. Though we just learned of De and her family's...

Bob was a great friend and neighbor in Va Beach. I lived just across the water from him and Dee. Bob was a great friend to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him.

We always knew him as Bob! One never knew what Bob was thinking as he was quiet but polite. Never heard him speak badly of anyone. May your family find peace and know Bob is with his heavenly father and watching out for all of your from his heavenly place.
