Not sure what to say?

Dear VanderHooning family,
On behalf of the residents and staff of Cambridge and Georgetown Manors we express our deepest sympathy. Bob was a blessing to us all as he scheduled pastors to come two to three Sundays per month. He was always so positive and such a joy to talk to. He will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Dear Carol and family;

You and Bob have always been an inspiration to us through your close walk with God and through your kindness to us and many others. It has warmed our hearts to hear the wonderful stories that have come out of the friendship you have with Mary's parents.

We rejoice in our knowing that Bob is in heaven with the Lord Jesus whom he loved and served so faithfully.

We love you, Carol, and are lifting you up in our prayers.

Dear Carol; My thoughts and prayers are with you on the most difficult of days. Larry Efting called a few moments ago with the news of Bob's passing.

Bob was truly a Christ follower. He had a passion for sharing the gospel, especially for those who were close to death's door. Not only did he preach at the nursing homes, he would often help in getting the residents back to their rooms, even though it got increasingly difficult for him. He loved them and they loved him. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the VanderHooning family during your time of great loss. I know Bob will be greatly missed by everyone he knew. His testimony and love of our Savior and Lord shined through his life as he reached out to share God's love. Although such a shock to his loved ones, his homegoing was a blessing to Bob as he is in his eternal home with his wonderful Savior.
With sadness in my heart, Cheryl Dalton

Dear Carol and family,
We were saddened to hear about Bob's death. However, we rejoice in the fact that we'll see him in Heaven. His passion for Christ was evident in everything he did. He was quite an example for all who knew him. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

With Love and Prayers,
Roger and Susan Edema

To the Vander Hooning family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Our sincerest Christian Sympathy to all of you.

I went to GRCHS with Wally--someone stopped in my office today to ask about where the funeral home was--small world.

My name is Wendy Prather and I work at Ron's Appliance, our office is in the same building as Palermo's Pizza were Bob would deliver produce. I have been helping him get produce inside Palermo's for a while now because he kept leaving his key in the door when he left(we laughed about that alot) and the next day he couldn't get in. So I started letting him in and putting items in the cooler. I thought Bob was a real genuine person, he always had something nice to say and always asked how I...
