My heart felt sympathy for your loss. I am happy to have had the opportunity to speak with Bob in June when I visited Michigan. You have my love and prayers.

I went to grade school and high school with Bob. Later on we both worked for the City of Rockford, he as fire chief and I as police chief. After I left Rockford, I often thought of Bob as a great co worker and best of all a good friend. Our sympathies are with his family.

The Officers and Members of the Michigan State Firemen's Associatiion join in extending heartfelt sympathy to the family in this hour of sorrow.

Bob WAS the Rockford Fire Department to me as I was growing up in Rockford. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. He will be missed.

Bob was a wonderful and kind man, I cared a great deal for him as my father in law and for the person he was, he will be missed in so many ways,the loss of a wonderful person like him is the greatest pain to have, but he left behind great memories and lives on in his Children and Grandchildren!

Sorry for your loss, he was a good person. May you find peace knowing that he is in a place where he feels no pain, and no suffering.
