Hi Cathy.
I liked Bob very much. I met him a few times with Beverly when she would drive me out to Thousand oaks as a child. I remember your lovely home with green house and pool. What lovely summer days we spent there. I remember the layout of your home exactly even though it must be 25 years since I have been there. Bob was always laughing and clever. I regret that I could not have spent more time with both of you, and been there during your times of grieving.

I never knew about the PHD in Physics. I knew about the gardening.
I remember him always smiling, whether we were camping or having a holiday dinner.
My parents highly respected him, and I can't say that about a whole lot of people.
I remember his pride in his first greenhouse, when it was first built. And his experiments with grafting on one of our plum trees.
He was a good man.
A gentle man.
He will be missed.
