Not sure what to say?

I met Bob shortly after I started working at the Veterans Home in 2011. I took care of the scheduling the transportation for his doctor appts. We became very good friends. I adopted him in our volunteer "Hero Time" program. We got to spend time chatting. He was a wonderful man and I am blessed to have known him for the short time that I did. I still miss his smiling face everyday. Bob you are loved and missed by so many. I am sure you are up in heaven singing with the angels and...

I was one of Bob's gazillion friends. I have missed him and our visits and card games since he left Lake St. Charles. He always had an interesting tale--new ones--every time I visited him. Art, music, cooking, he had so many talents and so many of life's experiences. He was a big talker, but never made much time for complaining. The last time I talked to him was when he called to let me know about the birth of little Elizabeth. I was worried that he might not be up to his usual when I didn't...

Bob was a wonderful man who my wife Cheryl and I have had the pleasure to know at the Veterans Home since early 2011. She called him "Singing Bob" because of his love of music and song. He made friends wherever he went and always had time for strangers who spoke to him. I treasure the day I served as his Guardian in Washington DC this fall and am glad he had the opportunity to visit "His" WWII Memorial. Bob, you were loved, and will be missed.

My Dad was a wonderful father and great buddy. Our family will certainly miss him. Thanks to everyone for your friendship and thoughts.

BOB WAS OUR COUSIN & FRIEND. IN 1945 HE STARTED A COUSIN REUNION. WE HAVE SHARED MANY MEMORIES YEARLY SINCE THEN. HE ALWAYS ENJOYED HIS COUSINS&THE OUT-LAWS. WHEN BOB COULD NOT DRIVE BETH & WEBB BROUGHT HIM FOR US TO ENJOY. WHAT GREAT CAREGIVERS THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN. WE WILL REMEMBER HIM IN OUR THOUGHTS&PRAYERS ON 1/19.MARTY&GERRY
